Welcome!

Carrie KittingerFaith

Hello, I am honored you stopped by! I sure wish this conversation could be face to face but for now, this will have to do.  I have never been accused of being unfriendly but I have been accused of being talkative, at least by all of my school teachers! Yes, I am an extrovert but I also enjoy times of quiet reflection.  I especially like to ponder over God’s Word.

This blog will be a place for me to unpack a little of what I am learning as I journey with The Lord and as I allow His Word to light my way.  May this blog:

  • Be an encouragement and inspiration to those who read it
  • Spur others on to dig deep into God’s Word for themselves
  • Give readers courage to proclaim God’s Word boldly and accurately

I encourage you to read Psalm 103 and Psalm 119 this week. Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm and is chock full of the benefits of being a woman of His Word. Like me, I am sure you want to know all about the benefits of the products you use.  Let us be aware of and encouraged by the benefits of His Word as well.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105

“Praise The Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits – who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”  Psalm 103:2-5

May we be undone by the grace and love of Jesus whose mercies are new each and every morning. Great is His faithfulness!  This is what I will be pondering in His Word and proclaiming through this blog – His faithfulness – to you and to me.

I plan on blogging once a week and I invite you to comment, ask questions and share insights. Isn’t that what we women enjoy doing together?

I don’t claim to be an amazing writer or grammar expert but I do claim to be passionate about Jesus, His Word, and His people. Thank you for joining in as I ponder and proclaim His Word.
