“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.”

John 1:14

What a beautiful time our family had remebering and celebrating the incarnation of Jesus – the Son of God who took on flesh and chose to dwell on earth.  As the Christmas season draws to a close, and new year resolutions are made, let us purpose in our hearts to be women (and men) of His word – allowing it to take up residence within us.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly..”

Colossians 3:16a

There is no better time than now to:

LIVE the Word – Psalm 119:9, Matthew 4:4
REMAIN in the Word – John 15:7

TEACH the Word – Deuteronomy 11:18-21
SHARE the Word – Mark 4:14

BE the Word – 1 Timothy 4:13-16

May we be marked by God’s word in a fresh and powerful way this year!

It will require …

Discipline.

Sacrifice.

Death to self.

Time.

Getting away to the lonely places.

Stilling our souls.

IT WILL BE WORTH IT!

We must be women (and men) of His Word.  May His Word become like a fire in our bones that must explode out, blaze the trail and mark us forever.

“… His word is in my heart like a fire shut up in my bones…”

Jeremiah 20:9
